Terms of Service
These terms govern use of Anki App (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.
1. Accounts and authentication
- Provide accurate, up-to-date information when creating your account.
- You can sign in with email or Google / GitHub OAuth. Display names from OAuth providers can be edited in Settings.
- You are responsible for managing your account and must not share credentials with others.
2. Use of the service
- The Service enables creating, studying, sharing flashcards, and reviewing study progress.
- Do not engage in illegal activity, rights violations, unauthorized access, spam, or other abusive behavior.
- You must hold appropriate rights to uploaded or created content and use it at your own responsibility.
3. Intellectual property
Rights to the Service (copyrights, trademarks, etc.) belong to us or our licensors. Rights to decks and cards you create remain yours, but we may use them as needed to operate and improve the Service.
4. Paid features
If we offer paid plans, pricing, payment terms, and cancellation policies will be provided separately. Service access may be paused for overdue payments.
5. Disclaimers
- The Service is provided as-is without warranties of fitness or completeness.
- Availability may be interrupted for maintenance, outages, or issues with external services.
- We are not responsible for damages arising from your device or network environment.
6. Termination
We may suspend or delete accounts without notice if these terms are violated or as needed for operations. You can request cancellation via Settings or by contacting us.
7. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by Japanese law. Disputes will be handled exclusively by the Tokyo District Court.
8. Changes to these terms
When terms change, we will announce the details and effective date in the app or on the website. Material changes will be communicated appropriately.
